He is taller than me and is 6'6 which is dumb cause I don't see a lot of missionary's taller than me. We are getting a long Great. Cause we are in Great falls! No that isn't the reason. So he is a basketball player from Pasadena California. I had a great week last week and found some super sweet shorts they have lions parrots and some other animals on them and I found them at Ross. so Love Ross now. March 16, 2015

Hey yo! I am stuck in the city of Great falls for yet another
transfer! I love it here and am super excited to be here to continue
with the work! I had my first baptism Saturday! I had to do it three
times cause I messed up but it was a good learning experience! Anyway
My new companion is named Elder Page and he is gong to be the new
district leader. We also now cover 5th ward as well. It makes our area
a lot bigger but I am ready for it! Elder graham is going to Cody
Wyoming. It has been super nice here for the past week and a half then
today it started raining/snowing again :( I am not to happy about it
but it's gong to be a little cooler so I don't mind. Anyway I got some
pictures for everybody!!!!!

This was his first baptism. I had to ask who performed the baptism and confirmation. His answer: "Her husband and her father in law did both of those we were just there
to support her"

A thought from a Mormon message that Preston found and sent home.

Preston is in Heaven.  Caffeine free Diet Mtn Dew!!! His mission is a caffeine free mission so adjusting to that was super hard for him!!!  Look! Miracles do happen!!

So this week is going to be awesome!!!! We have a mission conference on the 4th with every missionary in the Montana Billings mission going to be there. We are also have a baptism this week and I am looking forward to that! the only thing that isn't great about the oncoming week is we get to go into a car share with 5th ward elders. so we get to know walk a bunch and that is going to suck cause its freaking cold. We are having a snow storm right now. wait I just looked out the window and it stopped. But since its great falls it will be back soon. So on preparation day we are going to play some basketball and some pod ball with the other zone! I am always looking forward to that!! Been reading in Alma and Helaman for studies. Also started reading the old testament from the beginning and it is weird and interesting. Also for some reason I cannot spell today. I messed on this email more times then I will admit. I miss everybody and hope everybody is doing well.
Love you all

Great Falls 4th Ward

February 23, 2015

So this past week we got a confirmed amount of 8 people to be put on date to be baptized. They are super excited! As well as I am! This weekend the 28th we are suppose to have three hopefully we figure everything out. Then the 7th of march We have 1. Then on the 14th we have three more and. Then the 28th we have another. Its super hard and difficult to get everybody's schedule right.
But we keep working hard also transfers are the 2nd to last week in march. I hope everybody is doing good. Miss all of you and I also had to give a talk in sacrament on missionary work!! It was super fun and a great way to motivate members to work with us.\

Love you all!!!!1

So Preston sent this poem at the end of a letter.  I don't think he knew this but this is my all time favorite poem. It was a tender mercy I needed that day.

’Twas battered and scarred, and the auctioneer
Thought it scarcely worth his while
To waste much time on the old violin,
But held it up with a smile:
“What am I bidden, good folks,” he cried,
“Who’ll start the bidding for me?”
“A dollar, a dollar”; then, “Two!” “Only two?
Two dollars, and who’ll make it three?
Three dollars, once; three dollars, twice;
Going for three—” But no,
From the room, far back, a gray-haired man
Came forward and picked up the bow;
Then, wiping the dust from the old violin,
And tightening the loose strings,
He played a melody pure and sweet
As a caroling angel sings.
The music ceased, and the auctioneer,
With a voice that was quiet and low,
Said, “What am I bid for the old violin?”
And he held it up with the bow.
“A thousand dollars, and who’ll make it two?
Two thousand! And who’ll make it three?
Three thousand, once, three thousand, twice,
And going, and gone!” said he.
The people cheered, but some of them cried,
“We do not quite understand
What changed its worth.” Swift came the reply:
“The touch of a master’s hand.”
And many a man with life out of tune,
And battered and scarred with sin,
Is auctioned cheap to the thoughtless crowd,
Much like the old violin.
A “mess of pottage,” a glass of wine,
A game—and he travels on.
He’s “going” once, and “going” twice,
He’s “going” and almost “gone.”
But the Master comes, and the foolish crowd
Never can quite understand
The worth of a soul and the change that’s wrought
By the touch of the Master’s hand
