Indian Days!!! Brownings Pow Wow

July 17, 2015

This Past Thursday through Saturday My companion and I were able to have a booth set up at Brownings Pow Wow. It was a great event to spread the gospel. We handed out free popsicles and pamphlets. We were there all day basically and it was tiring but it was a lot of seeds planted. That was most of our week. We got to watch a lot of the dances from the Black Feet Indians and many other tribes from around the nation. Also the fry bread was super good. I had  frybread burger and it was bomb. There are some pictures of our booth down below. Also the painting is of Samuel the Lamanite and a member of the Browning Branch painted it so we could display it during Indian Days. I hope everybody has a great week and Next week are transfers. I feel that as I am out more we get transfer calls sooner and sooner. Time flies when you work though. Love you all!!!

Not a Boring Day in the Life of a Missionary

Hello everybody from far and wide. Its time for the email from Elder Grissom. (so hold on to your socks). Anyway This past week was awesome! We got to meet president and sister Wadsworth last Friday out in Helena! That was such a spiritual experience. So after that we went with the Elders Serving in Roe River in great falls. While at their apartment I found a big box of ties and they let me keep them all! There were at least 40+ ties in that box. Then the next day we went and walked the 4th of July parade and handed out Pass along cards. There were some people who didn't really accept it but we handed out at least a 1000. Then today we went glacier today with Elder Howard and Elder Wilden from Shelby. They are the two with goats on there heads. Not much else to talk about. Love you all have a great week

Starting a New Journey

June 29, 2015

This week is President and Sister Mecham's last week in the Montana Billings Mission. They will greatly be missed. I have learned a lot from both of them. But it is also the start of President and Sister Wadsworth. I am Looking forward to both of them and the way they will influence this mission. Anyway Elder Buntrock came last Wednesday and came on exchanges with us. We found 9 new investigators and put 4 of them on date, It has been a good week. I have also finished reading the book of Mormon and have started over today. I have learned so much from reading it. Sorry not a lot to say this email but I have pictures!!!!!  So One is of Elder Buntrock, and Elder Masauo we are teaching while sitting on the side walk. Then we went to youth conference and helped out they gave us embark t shirts. Then the next one is the temperature. I thought I was in Montana not Arizona.

Happy Fathers Day!

June 22, 2015

Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there and to all the past and future fathers!! This week was jammed packed full of events. Thursday we had our last Mission Leadership Training with President and Sister Mecham. It was a spiritual amazing event. I learned a lot and learned some things that I didn't know I had to learn. It was also sad that it was there last Meeting with them. They have been great and have taught me and many other missionaries a whole lot. I will always cherish there teachings. I am also stoked for President and Sister Wadsworth. Even though President and Sister Mecham are leaving they have left an impression with me forever. I am looking forward to the attributes and teachings the Wadsworths are going to bring. We took one last picture with them but the picture didn't come out the best.  Then On Friday night we had the baptism of Kylee Arensmeyer. She is a 9 year old girl who is just truly amazing. She was so ready to be baptized. It was a super spiritual event and was amazing. She has progressed in the gospel exponentially and has received her own testimony already. I am glad I was able to teach her. Then on Sunday we had Stake conference. We were able to hear from our stake president some youth. The temple president and his wife from the Cardston temple. The Elder and Sister Spackman of the 6th Quorum of the 70. He talked about families and keeping the Sabbath day holy and the power that comes from reading the scriptures. I have found a new inspiration to read my scriptures even more. That has come slowly but surely through out my mission. I have found the wonderful teachings in both the bible and the book of Mormon. Anyway this week we have Youth conference and we are helping out so that will be exciting! Love you all Have a Great Week!!! :)  The last picture is the Great Falls zone sustaining president Wadsworth.
